Sean is the fearless leader of our firm.  He has been a CPA since February 2012 and he has been in the accounting business for over 20 years.  Sean focuses on the personal relationship between the client and the accountant, making the client feel more at ease with the stressful business of dealing with his or her finances. Sean has a passion for small business and making business aspirations a reality.  He has earned his B.S. Management from Metro State and then his M.S. Accounting from the University of Colorado.  When Sean is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two Great Danes, traveling, football (Go Broncos!), soccer, and golf.

Lyndsey Wagner

Chief Operating Officer

Lyndsey manages our financial and day to day operations, taking care of the behind the scenes aspects of the business. Lyndsey has previously worked at the front desk and as a tax preparer for Wagner & Associates. Lyndsey brings a great deal of experience in business operations having worked for GE Healthcare and Legal Access Plans before coming to work with us. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Sean, cooking, traveling, and wine.

Sam Macaulay, EA

Vice President of Tax and Accounting, Mountain Man

Sam has been with us since shortly after graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in History in 2017.  A lot of good that history degree is doing him.  Sam is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.  That’s more like it!

When he isn’t hard at work, he loves to escape to the peace and quiet of the mountains with his wife and two exceptionally well-trained dogs.  Surprisingly, he has an irrational fear of bears.   Good luck, Mountain Man!

Steve & Cassi Wagner, Retired

Steve has been an accountant for 40 years and has owned his own practice for over 26. Cassi has been at the heart and soul of the business since the beginning. She has worn all hats and worked tirelessly alongside Steve to build our business into what it is today, all while raising three children.  Steve and Cassi are currently retired, however, don’t be surprised if you hear from them during busy tax seasons. They are both very involved in the local community and seek to serve whenever possible.  Steve and Cassi enjoy all things concerned with the outdoors including snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, camping, and getting back to Californian beaches for a nice bonfire, they are excited to spend time with their granddaughter and travel as often as possible.
